Here's Baby Girl on our way to the breakfast. Our breakfast was at 8 a.m., before the park officially opened, so we could see some of the last-minute preparations they make before opening each day. As we were walking into the park, one of the landscapers picked a flower from the bed he was working on, came over to Baby Girl, and handed it her while bowing and saying, "For you, Princess."
I was struck how every cast member who saw Baby Girl while she was dressed up stopped to say "Good Morning Princess!" as we made our way through the park. I had even brought extra clothes for Baby Girl to change into after the breakfast because it was going to warm up quite a bit that day, but she refused to change - all day. I think she enjoyed being royalty.
The breakfast in Norway included Belle, Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, Snow White and Mulan. Snow White was one of our favorites. She posed for a picture with Baby Girl...
...and then called her back over and planted a big kiss on her cheek.
Baby Girl walked around with those lip marks on her cheek all day.
Mulan was also one of our favorites (and we haven't even seen that movie!). She just had a lot of personality and engaged OBB who was otherwise not terribly interested in the whole princess thing.
After breakfast we headed to Future World and checked out the Univese of Energy...
...and the Living Seas!
We also had lunch at the Living Seas in front of a huge fish tank!
After lunch, we went over to the World Showcase. OBB enjoyed pretending to be a Viking in Norway...
...and he LOVED the street performers in the different countries. This is a juggler in Italy that we watched while enjoying some gelato. We also saw performers in France and England.
In England, we listened to a "British Invasion" band that played hits from The Beatles, among others.
My WH took the opportunity to dance with his princess while they played "Eight Days a Week".
And WH insisted we all pose in a British phone booth...
That evening, we had dinner in France and then came back to our hotel to watch the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom. Nothing like seeing fireworks while sitting in your bed, wearing your jammies!
Every night, the kids fell asleep almost immediately. They were exhausted by the end of each day.
