Our Latest Project

This year's renovation project is the downstairs bathroom, hallway and laundry room. We're completing it in two phases and phase one is done! My Wonderful Husband tore out everything right down to the floor and started from scratch. Here are some before pictures...

Our bathroom and hallway had this lovely Waverly Stripe wallpaper. I once had an interior designer in my house and she exclaimed in her most southern accent, "Well my! Those stripes look just close enough together to be prison bars!" I'm not making this up.

And the vanity...notice the mirror that is reminiscent of Snow White (Mirror, mirror, on the wall! Who's the Fairest of them all?!?)























Then when we started peeling back the striped wallpaper, we found a whole new layer of wallpaper! Flowers! Everywhere!

And the bathroom. New paint, vanity, mirror, valance, lighting, etc.























This is the beautiful valance that my seamstress in Charleston made for me.
