Turkey Talk

I remember the days of working for a paycheck, when a major holiday was approaching. Starting about four days out, it seems that your level of enthusiasm for work diminished by an equal percentage each day until it's the Friday before Thanksgiving and you can hardly bring yourself to return people's phone calls. ("There's a whole week of November after Thanksgiving this year", you tell yourself, "so I could even call them back and have it still be November! It's not like I'm putting them off till next month!"). It all sounds rational at the time.

While reflecting on those feelings, which thankfully this year, I don't have to endure (today I will be getting a responsible head start on Christmas shopping - can you say "HELLO Macy's One Day Sale"?) I decided to provide a little holiday distraction on my blog.

Here is the Thanksgiving memory game. It's just like the game Memory that we played as kids except it's online and you won't have cards that get all chewed-up looking over time. As I am still not skilled at putting a link in my blog, here's the web address. Just cut and paste, my friends. And no need to thank me for helping you waste time in a "I'm just celebrating the holiday" kind of way. I'm glad to be of service.
