There's this message when you log into Blogger about switching to Beta. I thought Beta was something I switched away from two generations ago in order to actually be able to rent movies from Blockbuster. (You know how they slowly push out the old version with the new version? I remember when all my friends had Beta at their house and then suddenly, VHS came in like an invasive species and slowly creeped its way through the video store until it achieved total domination.)
Being someone who isn't much up for surprises (just ask my husband), I am skeptical of anything new. I need one of you more educated computer type people to explain to me why I should consider switching. The blogger corner of my life is fine just the way it is. Sure I don't know how to post pictures or even put a link to some other website in the text of my posts, but I can post my random thoughts, and frankly, that's enough for me. I don't want to have to log in with my google account....do I even have a google account? I don't know.
Will all of you be able to read my blog if I switch to Beta or will you have to switch to Beta first? I have questions and I need answers.

Wow - you must be special. The beta version is just a test version of the new blogger. It is only being offered to a select few people. Click the link below for questions. You may want to pay attention to the "What if I don't want to switch" link.

aww man, thats not fair.
I know. I would have switched immediately. Of course, if you look at the "why can't I switch to Beta" question it specifically says that large blogs can't do it right now...
