I must take a moment and list all the reasons I love Chick-Fil-A. For those of you in the north who may not be familiar with Chick-Fil-A, it is the best chicken fast food restaurant ever. Period.
Top Five Reasons I Love Chick Fil A
5. The people who talk to you over the loud speaker at the drive through are very polite. I went through the drive through recently and the fellow at the counter (yes, I realize I sound about 100 years old when I say fellow) came over the loud speaker, introduced himself with his first and last name and asked how he could help me. I could understand everything he said. It was the beginning of a wonderful drive through experience.
4. The people who give you your food at the window are very charming. When I got to the window to pick up my food, the lady remarked on both my cute baby and cute dog (who happened to be in the back seat together). She didn't have to do this. She was just making pleasant conversation. That certainly hasn't happened at any other drive through I've been to lately.
3. The food is very good. They have really good plaid fries and their chicken nuggets are my absolute favorite.
2. Two words - Diet Lemonade. I'm not sure how they make it, but it is soooo good. You can order it with your meal, or if you want to take a bunch home, they sell it in gallon jugs for $7.00 and believe me it is worth every penny.
1. Innovation. They continue to produce new great tasty things. They have recently come out with hand-spun milkshakes. I haven't actually had one yet, but my husband has and I'm willing to take his word for it that they're delicious.

Would you say that he is an expert at shake discernment?
I am at least a devoted amateur.
I always crave Chick-fil-A on Sundays.
the shakes are VERY good. I shared one with the kids one day and secretly took sips when they weren't looking!
Regardless of the food or the manners, I would be happy to go to a drive-through where the attendant still speaks American.
hehe. big a, even the mexicans speak american down here.
what exactly constitutes "speaking american"?
