A Day at the Orchard

Today we decided to start off fall with a trip to Carter Mountain Orchard in Charlottesville. It was a gorgeous day and not too crowded.

First we went apple picking. There were lots of different varieties of apples and rows and rows of trees.








































































































































Then after we picked our apples, we had a picnic lunch, looking out over the Blue Ridge Mountains. And OBB had to get his picture taken in this giant apple.





















And then, because no trip to the apple orchard would be complete without apple donuts, we had some for dessert! Yum!
