After that, we headed to Kennebunkport.

We ate the most incredible Blueberry Pie ever at Bartley's. It was made with Wild Maine Blueberries and was scrumptous! Apparently, George H.W. Bush is known to dock his boat right outside Bartley's and get some for himself on a regular basis.

After dinner, we started walking around the shops in town and found ourselves heading towards the beach where fireworks were about to start. The sun was setting as we walked and the view was gorgeous.

When we arrived at the beach, people were already sitting on the beach, waiting for the sun to dip down so the fireworks could start. It was a beautiful scene. OBB and Baby Girl loved the fireworks. By the time we made our way back to Nana's house, both kids were alseep. It was a perfect day!

For our last day in Maine, we went to the Seashore Trolley Museum. This museum had trolleys from all over the world! The kids can play on them, ride on them and then explore several large sheds filled with trolleys.

There were lots of things for the kids to touch and play with in the museum.

And then we even got to go for a ride on a trolley, complete with a conductor who took his job very seriously.

Following the trolley ride, we were invited to explore shed after shed housing alll kinds of trolleys from all over the world. The kids were able to climb on most of them and even ring some of their bells.

This is a fancy one from Manchester, England that I liked.

After the museum, we had a great lunch in Wells (more lobster, of course!) and then had a fun evening with family. The next day, we departed at 4 a.m. for Virginia. We were sad to leave, but had made many wonderful memories during our trip.
