Christmas is Over

Had you been in my house this week, you would have heard this phrase more than once. Every so often, OBB will come up to me and say, "Momma? Christmas is over?" and I'll say, "Yes, Christmas is over." Then we'll start a conversation with OBB trying to figure out which holiday is next and after I explain it's Daddy's birthday next and then Valentine's Day after that, OBB goes on and on about making Daddy's birthday cake "right now" and making hearts "right now". (He's a little lost when it comes to details like time and space).

Well today we did the last of our Christmas celebrating and the phrase Christmas Is Over was finally true. We traveled to DC to see my brother and his lovely wife and their twin girls and had our own little Christmas. This was the first time that OBB and Baby Girl were able to meet their cousins. It was also the first time I was able to hold the babies! Here are some pictures from our visit.
