One morning this week in my rush to get out the door, I asked OBB to sit in the wing back so I could put his shoes on. I sat his sister down next to him while I searched for his shoes and told him to watch her. Here's what I found when I reappeared with the shoes (if you can look past the clash of patterns).

This was Baby Girl the other night. Is there anything sweeter than a sleeping baby in a sea of pink?

This is how OBB chose to watch Sesame Street the other morning (and yes, that would be our circa 1983 TV in the background that desperately needs replacing).

And finally, we had some company this week. My WH's Aunt Eva and Uncle Bob came to visit during their trip across the US. They are, without a doubt, the most fun 70-year-olds I have ever met.
At our wedding, I didn't throw the bouquet mostly because when you get married at 28, you don't have too many single friends left to stand waiting for it. So instead, we had a dance contest of sorts. Married couples were called to the dance floor for a song and after a couple minutes of dancing, the band leader said "all couples who've been married less than five years should sit down". Then he went through couples married 10 years, 20 years, and 30 years until there were very few people left dancing. Well Aunt Eva and Uncle Bob were the last ones standing, having been married over 50 years. So Aunt Eva received my bouquet.
Baby Girl gets her middle name from Aunt Eva, so we made sure to get a picture of the two Evas together (and no, we didn't plan that their outfits would match - that's just how naturally in sync they are :-).
