1. There's no need to say a lot to get your point across. In fact, sometimes, less is more and you can be more effective with a stern look or big smile than filling the air with lots of talking.
2. It's important to figure out how stuff works...doesn't matter how long it takes. This is especially true for toys, household appliances and other mechanical devices.
3. You should try to wave hello to all people who pass by your house when you're in the front yard - even if they don't see you...or respond.
4. Sometimes the best thing you can do in a situation is just fold your hands and wait quietly.
5. If you only say a couple words, "please" should definitely be one of them.
6. Never leave a place without saying goodbye - even if you're saying goodbye to inanimate objects (ie: Bye Bye playground! Bye Bye House!).
