Eight Amazing Things About OBB

My friend Evelyn tagged me to post eight wonderful things about OBB so I am dutifully responding.

1. OBB can now make sounds for a pig, duck, cow, doggie, kitty, lion, bulldozer and fire engine.

2. OBB loves broccoli. Doesn't matter if it's raw or cooked. He'll eat little trees as long as you keep offering them.

3. OBB has become a master at non-verbal communication. This is a little frustrating for his parents who would like for him to talk more, but it's also very endearing. He will point to the spot he would like you to place his food on his high chair tray. He will shake his head no (which for now is much more pleasant than having to hear "no!" all the time). And he's taken to waving at the people in the neighborhood as we drive in and out.

4. OBB loves to color in his Sesame Street coloring book and he's definitely left-handed.

5. He loves to run away from me..in the yard, in a parking lot (I know, so scary), wherever we are. He thinks making Mommy run after him is hilarious.

6. He thinks the dog is his playmate. The other day I found the dog laying on the couch with a book open in front of her nose and a burp cloth on top of her head like a kerchief. Good thing EDD loves OBB...a lot.

7. He knows how to point to his eyes, ears, mouth, nose, hair, feet and hands.

8. He desperately wants to be a grown up RIGHT NOW. In the past week, he's tried to load the dishwasher, sand walls, start his own bath, throw out his own diapers, let the dog in from outside and log on to the computer.

So that's it from here. More than you wanted to know, but slightly interesting nonetheless.

I would add: 9. Walks up stairs (doesn't crawl). 10. Eats whole bananas (no longer wants them cut up).
