What OBB is loving right now...

I thought it was only fair to include a list from OBB too...

Books - While he doesn't have much patience for lingering on a particular page (he'll try to turn the page if you take too long - wonder where he gets that from?), OBB loves looking at picture books and having us name the items or animals in the pictures. He also loves books with flaps that you lift up to find another picture.

Trucks - particularly ones that make a lot of noise. When we're leaving our house and our car pulls up to the stop light at the main road, OBB squeals with delight to see the cars and trucks whizzing by. He also likes pushing his toy trucks around on the floor and making a vroom vroom! sound while he does it.

Books about trucks - this practically goes without saying, but yes, the boy does love books with pictures of trucks in them and trust me, we have plenty. I'm even learning the difference between an excavator and a bulldozer - not something I knew I needed to know - but now I do.

Macaroni and Cheese - OBB would eat this for every meal if I would let him. My mom tells me I was crazy about it too (still am) so I guess it's genetic.

Doggies - OBB loves dogs - no doubt a result of his doggie's kind, gentle submissiveness to all the torture he inflicts on her (treating her like a horse and tring to ride her around the house, falling on her, bringing toys to her to see what she'll do with them). All of this has led to him thinking that ALL doggies are like this - which will take some tempering on our part, but when we're out strolling him around and we come across another dog, OBB kicks his legs and gets very excited. Thankfully, all the doggies he's encountered so far have been very friendly and he loves to try to reach out and pet them.
