Wearing flip flops every day (if I want). It is so nice to not have to worry about a dress code or dressing for work everyday! I know I technically didn't have to dress up last summer either, but coming off of a pregnancy, a c-section and gallbladder surgery within 6 weeks of each other was hardly a way to celebrate summer, so I didn't really get to enjoy my summer clothes (mostly because they didn't fit yet). Now they fit and it's been like rediscovering old friends!
Hershey's All Natural Extra Dark Pure Dark Chocolate Bars (with 60% Cacao). My wonderful husband and I store these bars in the refrigerator. There's nothing like ending your meal by breaking off a square of chocolate and pairing it with a glass of milk. It's just the right amount of chocolate for dessert and it's heart-friendly! At least that's what I tell myself. And at the risk of sounding like a chocolate nerd, I wouldn't recommend going above 60% in the cacao department. My WH and I tried Lindt's 85% Cacao bar the other day and it was just bitter. You need to leave a little room to sweeten the dark chocolate up, and Hershey's does it just right!
Fresh morning air in the summertime. Every morning when I open the front door to let EDD outside (at about 6:45 a.m.) I get to take in a deep breath of fresh morning air and look at the sunshine streaming across my front lawn. A great way to start the day.
The sound of my WH's voice reading stories to OBB at night. My WH uses the greatest silly voice to read stories to OBB. I can usually hear him from downstairs. It just makes my heart melt.

theres actually a health warning on the label of those chocolates.
Sounds like a pretty great summer!
So, Gagknee, I want you to know that I actually got up and went tot he refrigerator to check the chocolate bar wrapper and you are...RIGHT! There is a warning! Who knew? It says to be sure you eat chocolate only in moderation...I think if they're going to have a warning on that, then they should definitely have warnings on pizza, potato chips and fried chicken...WARNING: This will eventually clog your arteries, leading to your untimely death.
