Yesterday was the Easter Party in OBB's Kindergarten class. They had four different stations with activities for the kids. I helped with egg dyeing and brought in 4 dozen boiled eggs that my WH kindly boiled the night before. (He is the "Egg Boiler-in-chief" at our house. Most Sunday mornings, I come downstairs from my shower to find my WH and OBB sitting at the kitchen table, enjoying boiled eggs for breakfast.)
The children enjoyed bingo with their word wall words (words they're supposed to have memorized by the end of the year like "there" and "what" and "this").
They had a bunny ears-making station.
A cookie decorating station
And finally, the egg dyeing station. Messy? Yes. But fun? You betcha.
Let's just say that it sure was good those eggs were boiled because over the hour-long party and 21 sets of little hands, more than one found their way onto the floor. But we had plenty of extras so each child went home with two decorated eggs to show mom and dad.
