Last night, we had a special date night with some friends from our church. We went to La Grotta (a little Italian restaurant that's new to us) where we enjoyed a delicious authentic meal and then walked over to the James Center in Richmond for a free Christmas concert by the Richmond Philharmonic. We enjoyed delightful music, perfect ambience with little twinkling white lights and Christmas decorations and sweet, solemn emotion as the concert ended with a singalong including Hark, the Herald Angels Sing, O Come All Ye Faithful and Silent Night. We followed this with coffee and dessert and more fun conversation and laughs. Altoghether, it was a perfect evening.
