Day Trip to DC

Today we took the kids to DC. This was really their first trip - the last time we did the tourist thing with them in Washington, OBB was 2 and Baby Girl was in my tummy. And with Daddy off from work this week, it was time for a trip!

The most exciting part for them was the Metro. OBB loved it mostly because it went fast. He had fun standing up while riding it and holding onto the pole.

We went to a couple of the Smithsonian museums and ate lunch at Union Station.





















We even showed the kids where Mommy and Daddy used to work.

We did lots of walking and riding and saw lots of exciting sights. But by the end of the day, we were all tired...
