Galavanting in the Garden

This afternoon, after church and lunch and a nice long Sunday afternoon nap, we headed to a friend's house to pick through their vegetable garden. They are out of town on vacation and asked friends to come by and pick what they like while they're gone so their vegetables don't rot. I took this as an opportunity to show OBB where vegetables come from and to enlighten him that corn doesn't grow in neatly stacked ears at the grocery store.

OBB loved it. He picked corn and tomatoes and even a giant cucumber.

Baby Girl was a little less sure of herself and preferred to be carried through the corn.

The best part is that now we have lots of fresh vegetables to enjoy for dinner this week!
