The Shape of Things To Come

For those of you who might have missed it on FB, a new age is dawning at our house...The Age of Karting. With the commencement of the Nascar season this weekend, my husband took advantage of the nice weather to apply the decals to OBB's new Kart. (For the uninitiated, they don't call it Go-Karting anymore. They just call it Karting. Also, the thing it's sitting on is known as a Kart Stand. Oh how my vocabulary has increased with this new hobby).





























OBB can't officially begin racing until he turns 5. (I can't even believe I am writing this). But between now and the end of April, he will be in for test runs, safety gear fittings and as much "seat time" as possible to have him ready to go when it's time. I think Daddy might be slightly more excited about this than he is. But in case you're worried that my WH is living his dream through his son - not to worry - my WH has a kart of his own inside the garage waiting for him too.
