As I am in the midst of attempting to potty train OBB once and for all, I am spending a lot of time (as in everyday, all this week) at home. This has resulted in me coming up with new and interesting ways to entertain my almost 3-year-old (like building dinosaurs stick by stick, baking stained glass figurines in the oven, growing animals in water from pill-looking capsules and playing with glow in the dark reeds that can become necklaces or bracelets). Due to the fact that we're not running around all day, this allows the baby to have real naps in her crib (God bless her for the fact that she will take a 2 1/2 hour nap because the most OBB would ever give me at this age was 30 minutes). So I decided amidst this chaos to try Baby Girl out in her high chair and see how she did. She seems to love it. She likes to watch me cook and have an elevated view of things:

And then this afternoon, I introduced OBB to the world of egg dyeing.

He had a great time, but he didn't seem to quite grasp the idea of being CAREFUL with the eggs - even though they were hard-boiled, they can still crack...which he discovered firsthand. Oh the joys of being a 3-year-old little boy...
