After we returned home from Maine, OBB enjoyed Lego Camp with his friend Jack. It was Amusement Park Week and each day they built a ride for an amusement park - most of them had motors and actually worked!
Then, OBB attended a science camp called Camp Invention where they encouraged children to take apart an appliance or electronic device. We sent a DVD player in with him for camp, but after camp, he wanted to take apart more! So we let him take apart our old computer.
Meanwhile, Baby Girl has stayed "busy" with her friends! She attended a Children's Theater production of Busytown with her friend Graham.
She also enjoyed a playdate with her friend Payton below. They spent hours enjoying the Children's Museum together!
Last week, we spent a day in DC visiting Capitol Hill. We saw the new Visitor's Center and some of the museums.
There was a big stinky plant on display at the United States Botanical Gardens that we had to check out.
We also visited the Newseum, which happens to have a great view of the Capitol Building.
To finish the day, we met my brother and his family for dinner at a great pizza place called Pi. It was a fun family day trip!
