The Month of May

May has flown by and we've stayed busy.  This month, I have had a couple opportunities for some fun of my own.  Early in May, I attended the Junior League Book and Author Dinner with my friend, Jayda.  There were over 1000 people there to hear 6 different authors talk about their books.  It was a really fun and interesting night!

Around Mother's Day, a group of my fellow "mommy" friends and I decided that the best way to celebrate would be a fun girls tea at The Jefferson - the nicest hotel in Richmond.  It was a lovely afternoon.  We sat and had tea and talked for over two hours!

Baby Girl has been playing lots of soccer and is really into it.  She loves her team, the Wolves, and her teammates.

And we ended the month with Baby Girl's last day of preschool.  She has been at this school for 3 years and it was sad to say goodbye.  Here she is with her best friend at school, Sam, a very shy little boy who loves playing with her on the playground.

The class did a little performance of some cute songs...

...and then we had a picnic...indoors because it was raining, but Baby Girl loved it because her Daddy was there.
