After spending a minute thinking about it, I realized that this is the number of cup holders in my car. Yep, 15 of them. That's one for each door, two in the front seat console, two in the backseat console, one in OBB's car seat, two in Baby Girl's car seat and four in the way back. And most of them have a beverage in them pretty much all the time.

remember when cars didn't have any? my parents had coffee mugs that came with bases that were glued to the dashboard or really wide bottom mugs that didn't tip over or a plastic cup holder that hung on the door. i think the pendulum has swung too far the other way though.
