A Day at the Zoo with my Two

This morning, we headed to the Richmond Metro Zoo with my MOPS group. This was Baby Girl's first trip to the zoo and she loved it! She made all of her cooing happy sounds when she would see animals. She was having a great time, and her brother loved running from exhibit to exhibit, so much so that he fell asleep in the car on the ride home!






















Here is OBB waving at the animals. I was trying to impress on him the importance of formally greeting your friends in the animal kingdom.





































Then OBB wanted to feed the giraffe. I thought he might be scared, but he wasn't at all. He really enjoyed it and let the giraffe eat out of his hand for a while. In fact, he was so laid back about it, the baby giraffe came over and ate from his hand too.
























































Baby Girl was thrilled to see some animals within her reach that she could pet.
















And after a picnic lunch, we ended the day with OBB taking a ride with some of his new friends.
