Analyze This

I keep having strange dreams. Dreams that seem very realistic until I wake up. For example, the other night I had a dream where I heard noises outside my window while sleeping and I woke from my sleep to find a workman there. He said he was there to provide an estimate for replacing all the pipes in my house. Only $154,000. While he was preparing his estimate, he also found time to take all the gravel in my driveway and pile it up in a mountain against my car, preventing me from getting it out of the garage. Then, thankfully, I really woke up.

Then last night, I had a dream where I woke up in my bed and heard a noise and walked out of my room to see a little animal's tail sticking out of the hall bathroom doorway - when I pushed back the door, it was a beagle. Then, in my dream, I woke from that dream and walked out of my room to find another little animal's tail sticking out the doorway of the hall bathroom and this time when I pushed back the door, it was a guinea pig. I have never owned, nor desired to own a guinea pig. So I kept trying to find my husband to ask him why he bought a guinea pig. Then, I eventually woke up from that dream for real. No animals, no tails. Just one snoring dog laying on the floor.

So I don't know what this means. Usually my dreams are not this realistic - they can be about things happening in my life, but not actually about sleeping and waking up to find something surprising.

Perhaps I should seek out a professional dream analysis.
